Does BPD fake they have terminal illness ?

My xBPDgf faked she had breast cancer for 3 yrs of our r/s. I paid her for chemo, operations, monthly doc visits in tune of $70,000. Whenever i ask for bills, test reports, doc name she would come up with various reasons and her infinite lying. She would say she will get reports but always forgets them. She used to tell me quite often how her breast pains and shes having nausea. I was so concerned abt her health that i used to pray for her daily and was working during the weekends for more pay. All went into drain.

When i found out she has lied to me and confronted her, she just talked for 5 mins and cut me off from that day. Its been 2 month of NC and i am happy that i have peace of mind now.

Does anyone faced same lies ?

Sorry to hear you went through that. After I broke up with my ex she lied about having breast cancer to try to get me back. But I bad as I felt for her I told her that all I could do was pray for her and wish her the best and I wasn't on any shape mentally to help her through that. I saw her a year later and she admitted it was a desperate lie to get me back! I felt horrible that whole year questioning myself but as I look back had gone back it would have eventually came to light . I guess I just lucked out and had been through enough with the suicidal thoughts and attempts she had that I couldn't take anymore. Don't beat yourself up for caring having a heart is not a crime !

My ex lied about many illnesses first one was she said she had cancer then it was open heart surgery the list goes on ! .

I could tell when things were about to go crazy because she would get horrible migraines and back pain. Did she fake it? Eh, I think the migraines were brought on by her disassociating.  I can bang my head against the wall wondering if my ex really has BPD (there was never a formal diagnosis) but recalling horrific episodes where she wouldn't remember what she did and/or was able to completely erase a horrific episode from memory and return to me like nothing happened... .even if it wasn't BPD she is a seriously disturbed individual who did me a favor by replacing me.
