Hi. My name is SpringMeadow. I'm 16, and my boyfriend has borderline personality disorder and I don't know how to handle things anymore.

If your 16, and not married or pregnant, I'd suggest seriously considering if this is a relationship you really want to be in.  If you do, read all the advice and techniques on here and use them.  Be aware, though, that there is a good chance he cannot/will not ever change or 'get better'.  Are you prepared for another 60 years of this?

I am very sorry to hear that things are so difficult for you right now, and it is great to see you reaching out for help and support - unfortunately the site requires that our members be 18 years or older, there are resources that can help you www.teenhelp.org[

I would also like to encourage you to talk to your school counselor or school social worker about your struggles right now.  Having a person to confide in can be very helpful.  I wish you well in your search.
