Just came one from running errands. Wife is waking up. We ate in silence w TV on. I cleaned up. She in very angry at me for several days.do break the silence, just sit nearby or wait.

It sounds like we all have different approaches to silent treatment.  Mine is to treat him like normal until he snaps out of it or melts down because I'm not responding in the way he wants.  Doesn't work for everyone, however.
