Hi.  Fairly new here and am wondering if someone can teach me something about this site's formatting.  I see that, often, when people are responding to someone's post, they will have a quote-section taken from the post so that they can then respond to that particular wording.  I can't seem to figure out how to do that in my responses.  Is someone able to tell me, step-by-step, how to use this function?  Any assistance would be very much appreciated.  Smiling (click to insert in post)

Hi DaughterOfHera

In the top right corner of each post you will see 'Quote'. If you click on that, a 'new reply' window will open in which that post has been quoted in its entirety. You can then manually prune the quoted post yourself to only include the texts you want to quote in your own post.

Also when you just hit reply and you then scroll downwards, you can see previous posts in the thread with again in the top right corner of each post the option to quote from them ('Insert Quote'.

I hope this helps!

Okay, I'm getting the quote option in the corner, but I still can't figure out how to do multiple, individual quotes within a single reply.  My own responses are showing up inside the quotes and I'm still not understanding.  I hope I'm not coming across as over-needy, but I'm not very technically minded.  Is it possible for someone to teach through a step-by-step example, such as with

1) do this
2) do this
3) etc.

I appreciate the help so far and would appreciate further guidance with this formatting, if anyone can offer direction.  Thanks so much.   Smiling (click to insert in post)
