Teen daughter diagnosed with BPD

My 15 year old daughter was diagnosed with BPD last year. After 3 years of dealing with her emotional outbursts it's nice to finally have a diagnosis. She is very smart but it is a constant battle to get her to school. She makes good grades, but if she gets mad at me or something triggers an BPD outburst she refuses to go to school the next day. I've tried consequences and even rewards to help improve her attendance but nothing works and I end up feeling frustrated and powerless as a parent. She's been in DBT for almost a year. I've seen some improvement, but she still has a long way to go. If anyone has any advice or suggestions parenting a BPD teen I would be interested in hearing from you.
Thanks!

Hi Aziz and welcome to bpdfamily
I'm glad you've reached out for support, there are parents of teenagers here going through similar situations to you, you are not alone. Like you the diagnosis was a relief and more importantly my then 26DD who had struggled with her disorders through her teens, succeed at school, university, work, she's now accepting and working hard to manage her disorders, she gave up work at Xmas to focus her recovery.
I'm glad you've seen improvement with DBT it's a lot of work on top of school, my now 29DD has just completed 12 months too, I'm walking with her on her journey.
I read your post a couple of times, do you think school maybe the trigger, why she is refusing to go the next day, is something happening?
