I adopted my daughter at age 7.  I am now raising her 4 years old son. We have been in and out of court for the last 3 1/2 years. My heart breaks over and over again over my powerlessness around her pain and anger. I am unable/willing to be alone in a room with her at this point as I have suffered to much abuse and cannot function well after an encounter with her.  Where is the hope that she will choose to heal and get the help she so deserves.

Desperate!

Hi there shesodeserves,

This sounds like a very tough situation for you to deal with and it's no wonder you're feeling desperate. I'm really sorry that you're having to go through this.

Does your daughter live locally and how often does she see her son?

What's going on with her right now?

Hugs
