Hi Everyone,
I desperately need help!
I have just realised that my long distance BF of 3 months has BPD. I initially thought he is suffering from depression due to difficult childhood. But now it's pretty clear he has BPD.
He is from France and I am from Egypt. We met on a work trip and started dating when he insisted on a LDR. We seemed like the most awesome couple initially. But off late I started seeing all the signs of BPD.
I was very happy he was visiting me till now, he even spent a lot of money on the tickets and visa. But I don't want to continue this relationship now, since he is getting obsessed with me.
Breaking up with him so abruptly would probably leave him scarred. I don't want to hurt him. But I want him to not visit. How do I avoid him from visiting me? Also what if he actually visits me, how should I act?
I think I should convince him to postpone the visit and slowly breakup in the mean time.
I am really worried please help. I really care about him, I wish I could help him get well, he is a very nice person.
