VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

Yes, I think a lot of women “monkey-branch” relationships but women with BPD monkey branch to the extreme and never stay on one branch for very long before swinging on to the next.

After a lot of reading and examining what I know of my ex’s past relationships, I believe that I will not be recycled. I think they tend to recycle the casual relationships which cause them the least aggro - who won’t ask to many questions and who don’t know the real them... .

In our 2 year relationship, me and my ex broke up many times and it was nearly me every time breaking up with her and her begging me back and guilting me to take her back... .
it was her that broke up finally, though she blames me entirely, even though she had at least 3 replacements lined up... .

What I am curious about is;

Why do pwBPD recycle some relationships and not others?

My ex never recycled any of her serious relationships and would only recycle the long distance relationships... .

So why are some relationships recycled and not others?

What are your thoughts?

I don't think anything I've read really suggests this.

Recycling, by both parties, is mostly about fear.

I think theres a lot of factors involved.

How much you meant to them, ease of replacements to get, how they behaved, if there where any deal breakers etc etc.

It also depends on their personality. I am the only recycle my exgf ever had and that was twenty years between relationships. She said when we got together that with every other partner she has had once its over she never goes back. I don't think I will ever be recycled by her again though.
