Understanding BPD sister

Hello my older sister was diagnosed several years ago unknowingly to any of our family. I found out because my brother in law her husband told me that he wanted to end their marriage after 25 years... this wasn’t the fist time. I always knew my sister was off I just didn’t know what it was. I have bipolar and wasn’t diagnosed until my late 30s I’m 44. Getting back I got sidetracked... my brother in law has tried unsuccessfully for years to have my sister and him go to couples therapy. She would go to one session and then her words” she was fixed and their marriage was good’. Well my brother in law couldn’t take it anymore she verbally abused him for years. Right after their divorce he told me that a therapist that he continued to see without my sister diagnosed my sister with BPD. I love my sister which is the hardest part. She is a highly functioning BPD holds a good job, dating and living with a extremely wealthy partner, scarily self medicates though with alcohol like crazy! Our father has recently passed and all sorts of super odd behavior she has displayed. I did the flowers for our dads funeral ( I am a florist I took great time in picking out precise flowers that my dad loved) she looked at the flowers and told me that a friend of her partners died and asked if she could bring a bouquet I made for our dad to this persons funeral? I told her no absolutely not and she pouted! I am in therapy and have been for years, I see a acupuncturist who has saved my life, I take supplements, meditate etc. It is like pulling nails for me to comprehend her and come from a place of love and no judgement... I love my sister she is my big sister. We were not abused came from loving parents not perfect parents but we were loved. Depression and sucicide runs in my family. I read about BPD as much as I can so I can understand it but feel so sad and angry when I come from a place of love towards her and she attacks me. I guess the help that I get and do... .it’s a full time job but I don’t dread any of it becuz I’m on a different path which is unique because it’s mine. I thank you for your time and listening.

Any divorce is sad... .what do you think about his revelation, do you also think BPD? With what other things with you do you struggle
