Hi good people,

I just had to share my excitement. After fighting with the insurance company, I was able to get a referral authorized to a legitimate DBT place for me. I'll of course let my separating uBPDw know, but I'm going to back off on getting her into counseling for now and do my work. Now that I could get the referral for myself, she may have more hope on making it work for her, but I'm going to let go and say "that's not my work!"

I'm really excited to work with someone who understands these issues and understands codependency as well. Fingers crossed that it's a good experience, and that I can get enough out of it before moving away!

Celebrating the little things,

Congratulations! I think DBT should be a school curriculum class. It's so helpful for everyone. I hope you are able to learn lots in the program.
