leaving hospital

Hi!  my 23 year old daughter has borderline personality disorder and was hospitalized for the first time 3 weeks ago.  there is a possibility that she will leave soon and I am unsure of how to proceed with her afterwards.

Hi!  my 23 year old daughter has borderline personality disorder and was hospitalized for the first time 3 weeks ago.  there is a possibility that she will leave soon and I am unsure of how to proceed with her afterwards.

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

 ~ Is your daughter accepting her diagnosis ? More importantly, would she give permission for you to speak to her medical team  and the social worker? 
~ Meanwhile it is essential for you to build up your own network of support as well and joining here is a good start.  You are as important as your adult child.
