I feel like I'm finally becoming detached

So I haven't even had the urge to unblock her from FB since her birthday, and it's been over a month!

I have been focusing on my art, my house, and looking for a new job which is just keeping me insanly busy! My thoughts of her are weakening.

I feel like I'm finally becoming detached.  Hope it stays this way.  

Again, want to thank this board for being able to keep me sane during all the struggles.

Just chiming in to see how you're keeping. I'm glad to know that you've been keeping busy. It does seem that your business has helped you stay focused on other things and that itself has helped you detached a little more. We're here to cheer you on your course of recovery.

Detaching is a gradual process, and for me, the litmus test would be when i'm no longer busy and 'idling' would thoughts of her come back? That would perhaps be another good indicator of how far we're in on our "moving on" process.

Yes, Shedd!    I'm happy for you. Keep focusing on you and your wellbeing... .before you know it, thoughts of her will be few and far between.

And when thoughts do come up, and the feelings that go with them, just know that if you feel and breathe through them, they can be gone in minutes.
