Yes.  I find it overwhelming to think about.  How do you address that?

Honestly, I find it overwhelming too.

For now, the best way I have found to deal with it is to work on healing me. I can not make sense out of insanity so I try to forgive and let go of the anger while protecting myself and my own boundaries.

Gentle hugs for you and for all of us struggling to heal.

Quoting Woolite:
Excerpt
A couple weeks ago in session with my T, he encouraged me to delight in my own little ones, my inner children, just as much as I delight in my grandchildren. I was astonished  shocked to consider such a possibility. It's an incredible thought to try to let settle into my head and heart. I'm still in process of mulling this over

I share that because is it not possible for us to consider the things mentioned in this thread as qualities to put into practice in our individual lives, for ourselves and our inner children? How much would this radically change how we see ourselves?

YES! This for all of us.  Thought  What if we could genuinely delight in our own inner child? On a regular basis.

Excellent thinking and mulling and sharing, Woolite.
