Hi, I am new to this site and excited that I have found it. I am wondering if anyone has had any luck with finding a life coach for someone with BPD?

I am a certified executive and organizational coach.  Part of our certification process is focused on differentiating someone who is "coachable" from some who has a mental or emotional situation that requires therapy.

Coaching starts with the premise that the person is whole and has life or work situations that can be improved upon.

I don't see someone who is a certified coach working with a person who needs therapy.

I would not accept a client coaching contract if I knew it was to work with someone who had been diagnosed with a mental condition and was looking for coaching to improve it.

Hi BPDmom2c

 Hi!

Welcome to our community. I'm also looking for a life coach for my 29 yr daughter, 3 years to recovery - where she is right now.  Doing the right thing (click to insert in post) I'm talking with my sister who works in the field. How old is your child, do they live with you, what challenges do they have?

I'm so pleased you are here with us, I too was relieved and excited to land here , life changing!
