Impact of being ignorant

Hi family,

Have been posting since october, when my world fell apart.

What i see now that i have distance and time, is that i made things worse.   He is high functioning, no one except me, knows his dx   untxBPD, he is on disability because of BPD.

The last year, 2017, i spent all my money, all my free time, yo woo him, that i made a mistake by asking that we take space.   I gave false impression of being weak and low self esteem.
At any rate, bottom line, i still care deeply for this troubled soul.   I have learned here.   I am not the same person.

Do you mean that you’re not the same person because you learned about BPD here? Do you feel like if you had known about BPD you could have saved the r/s?

And you will juju.  We can't turn our feelings off and this can sometimes be confusing in instances when we feel we were treated poorly.  The difference is that when we are emotionally healthier, we can accept that we care without having to do anything about that.  You are certainly making strides.
