Yes. I have referred a friend to this site. I feel it helped her . Specifically the boards and it’s many great members. When you read “your story” being posted almost word for word, it’s surreal and shocking but also comforting that you aren’t alone. That “this is my relationship “ moment we all have when we finally find our selves here.

Many of us on here felt our relationships were unique or special. And maybe in some cases they were. But the dysfunction and abuse and codependence and all the other crappy aspects of them were very much text book borderline relationships. The recycling. The out of this world highs and the awful discards were all very similar.

I feel the boards were very helpful in getting me through my lowest points. I think posting on here was also therapeutic for my friend. I don’t know how a person who has BPD would react to this site.

Some people adjusted well or went to therapy or were just stronger emotionally and maybe they didn’t need this site. But for the rest of us who didn’t get out soon enough. Who didn’t dodge the bullet. Who have families with or are family members to a person unfortunate enough to have this disorder this site can be a lifesaver.

Absolutely! I have already recommended it to a couple people. One of which I know it helped tremendously.
