the worrying is extreme, i have learned to set boundaries after 11 months
of therapy, it is so hard to see your child live through these ups and downs,
my child is 19 and its taking a toll on the family, and her friends, the good days
are great and shes the artistic funny young lady we all love, and enjoy but i never
know what the next day will be, i have learned my husband or her sister cant handle
this any more and i feel alone, my friends dont understand

Hi daisymom

Welcome to bpdfamily  Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

I'm sorry what brings you here, parents are in similar situations with their children and understand what you are dealing with, you've come to the right place to talk and for support, we are listening - you are not alone.

It's taking a toll on the family and you have learned your husband and her sister can't handle this anymore, what are they saying to you daisymom? Do you think there are there things they can do to help themselves, that may bring them some relief?

Well done for learning to set boundaries with your therapist, I love your subject line 'staying strong and loving', are you familiar with other communication skills and tools you see to your right  Bullet: important point (click to insert in post) they've been key to our success.

Is your DD in treatment, is she aware of her struggles, does she talk to you?

We're here walking with you.

Hi daisymom Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

I would like to join wendydarling in welcoming you to our online community

Has your daughter perhaps been diagnosed with any kind of disorder? Is she receiving any targeted treatment for her issues?

Dealing with a BPD child can be very challenging as many of our members have experienced. The daughter you are posting about is 19 but you also mention her sister. How old is your other daughter?

I am glad you joined our site and hope that posting here will help you feel less alone
