Hi,

Our 37 year old son has BPD and other issues as well and we just feel its a never ending battle of 2steps forward then 10 steps backwards.

I'm sure we don't react to his dramas in the correct way. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello Nannymoonbeam  Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

I’d like to welcome you to bpdfamily.

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with your 37 year old son. Does he still live with you or does he have a place of his own?

It would be helpful if you could tell us a little more about what issues are affecting you right now so that we can offer suitable advice. In the meantime, if you take a look over to the right  Bullet: important point (click to insert in post) you will find a list containing TOOLS and LESSONS, that you might find useful x

Hi Nannymoonbeam

Along with Feeling Better, I welcome you here to the bpdfamily.  At 37, youve no doubt been dealing with issues for a long time and I hope you have good support in place.

I can really relate to your views that you havent reacted well to your sons dramas. My daughter is 27 and after a violent rage 10 months ago, I arrived here. I have learnt so much about myself and how I cant change her behaviour but how to change my reactions and responses to her.

FB points you in the right direction. A great introductory book is "Walking on Egg shells " by Randi Kreger

I hope you are able to share a little more of what has been happening for you.

Take care
