I saw that there are closed groups on facebook for those in relationships with pwBPD, and I wanted to see what the discussions there are like.  I want to say, BPD Family seems to be the most willing to work on casting a positive light on a very dark subject, and encourages those of us who are "nons" to work on improving US as well as working to diminish drama.  The small amount of comments and feedback I've seen are less constructive than those, here, and focus less on how you can improve things for yourself, and seem to sadly perpetuate (unintentionally) victimhood, or therapy-or-else thinking in all cases.

If I'd not found BPD Family, I'm not sure where I'd be today.

Thank you.

I love this support group because it's not just one of those groups which people gather and feel sorry for themselves.

It's about learning to equip ourselves with tools to improve our relationships EVEN if we're the only one working on this aspect (very important for me!), and helping us handle our own expectations.

If it weren't for this board, I might have been dead today, or at least seriously clinically depressed.

Thank you, isilme. You were among the first there for me when I first got here around 14 months ago. It was members like you that made we want to stay.
