I Can't Let This GO

I just can't let this go. I was doing so good not talking to him. I stayed away, went through a different entrance to work, never went to his work space, always went through other co-workers to get answers. Then I'm just in my office and he comes by smiling and happy to chat like nothing happened. I just couldn't tell him to leave, it seemed like it would just make him so sad. Now I'm angry with myself. I just found out that he is moving away so maybe he just wants to clear the air. I'm so torn because I know what I want to say to him and I also know that it really doesn't matter. I'm really worried that I'm not strong enough to say no to him even though I am so angry and sad. I honestly don't know what to do
