Before you can make things better, you have to stop making them worse... Have you considered that being critical, judgmental, or invalidating toward the other parent, no matter what she or he just did will only make matters worse? Someone has to be do something. This means finding the motivation to stop making things worse, learning how to interrupt your own negative responses, body language, facial expressions, voice tone, and learning how to inhibit your urges to do things that you later realize are contributing to the tensions.

Hey Borderlined-

I know... sometimes we do get that feeling of hopelessness and Years of wasted time.  I feel that way on many days.

But I’m willing to bet that every single person who knows you could list at least 10 amazing qualities that you have.

Please tell me more about what you’re thinking right now.  I do believe we can always change something.  Sometimes the tiniest change can make a difference in how we see things.

Warmly,

I have many good qualities I like to think. I'm defeated by the endless turmoil that seems to follow her around. It effects my life and I'm getting no help. Not with family or professionals. At times they work against me getting her in front of the right Drs.  She is a good person with a bad illness. I suppose with no license now it is the main thing that all other anxieties are based on. It's a prison. For both of us
