Hi, I'm new here.  My teen daughter was recently diagnosed with BPD.  She comes home from residential treatment next week.  We set up an outpatient DBT program for her to go to when she comes home.  I am looking for a BPD specialist for therapy for her after the outpatient is done.  I am having an incredible hard time finding one. We are in the Milwaukee, WI area.  Any recommendations are greatly appreciated or even help pointing me in the right direction of where to look would be helpful.   Thanks.

Welcome to the group Necer
You have come to the right place for information and support. I don't know much about the Milwakee area but I am sure others will soon come along with information. Maybe a good place to start would be with your insurance. Ours has a mental health and addiction help line that has helped us locate providers. Best wishes.

I live in the Chicago area and have been trying to get my daughter into residential treatment for DBT therapy. She has a therapist trained in it but she is too far gone now for outpatient to be any use anymore. Did your child go willingly? I looked at Rogers in Milwaukee but they will not take her unless she goes voluntarily. My daughter is refusing. My daughters therapist is in IL but I would imagine that the Rogers Behavioral Health system might have a recommendation for you.
