Hello
My adult daughter was recently diagnosed with bpd. She has seen a therapist once a week for 5 weeks. She is blaming me for everything wrong with her. Some is fabricated and some is valid but i can’t keep up with the accusations. I read stop walking on eggshells but i feel
Like i am learning a new language. I feel very isolated and alone with this

Hi Smartsox!

Let me be the first to welcome you to  bpdfamily, although I'm very sorry you had to find us in the first place. A diagnosis can bring relief and pain all at the same time. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this but want to assure you that you've come to the right place for knowledge and learning this new language - none of this stuff is intuitive and takes practice and patience. We are glad you're here.

What's going on today?

I look forward to getting to know you and how we can best support you. You are not alone!

my Daughters therapist suggested i start therapy myself. I am currently paying her $150 weekly and the therapist she referred me to is 200 per visit.
I have decided to buy a book called the family essential guide for bpd. I would
Like to think the page can help me feel not so alone with this. I really want my daughter to get the help she needs and i want to learn to communicate with her so that i do t upset her more.
Thank you for reaching out to me.
