I am taking Harri's wise advice and trying to post good feelings not just in crisis mode.  I am feeling hopeful because I finally told my husband about my abusive childhood. No details but at least a start.  I need help from him to cope and he has validated my perception that my bpd mum and sis deplete me.

How brave of you to step out! Small steps are important -- you can be grateful for each progression forward.

That is so huge! And so brave! And what a darling hubby to support you. Love that line about "depleting". It's so true huh?
The trauma is very depleting.
Yet as we work through it, we find an inner strength we never knew.
Celebrating with you this HUGE step and victory today!

Hi Zab!

I am glad you shared with your husband, that is a big positive step.   Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)

Posting when not in crisis mode also makes it easier to use the tools and skills we talk about here so I am glad you are taking this step!  Smiling (click to insert in post)
