Single Mom here.  Raised 4 daughters myself and my youngest is 27 with I think BPD, she just started therapy although she has been in and out of therapy for years.  This problem started when she was 2.  I am 61 now and so very familiar with the outbursts/meltdowns.  They are getting worse and I am getting angrier when she attacks me physically and emotionally, what can I do?  Usually I have the patience of Job but these bouts are getting worse and after 27 years I am tired and depressed dealing with every dang trauma that comes down the pike. Tortured soul here every single day.

Welcome

I'm glad you found us.  We "get it".

Does your D still live with you?

Have you done any therapy to help with the situation?

Does your D seem to do better while she is in therapy?

What have you done in the past when you have been attacked?  I'm concerned when I see "physical" attack.  What is that like?

I'll check back soon to see your answer and I believe we can help you!

Best,

FF
