Hi All,
I am a BPD single mother of 2. , although I am not clear about the diagnosis or the definition. My 17 year old, exhibits traits. And we have been in conflict most of her life. My mother also exhibits some traits. My 1st step mother was definitely.. and caused myself and my sisters emotional trauma, such that we are nolonger in contact with her.
I am here to learn how to take care of myself as a parent. How do I talk to my daughter, set limits without triggering her or me ? Is it possible?  Is this forum the place for me? If not, what you suggest.
Thank you, JosieCat

Hi and thank you for writing us.
For your own BPD, this link may help:

This forum will help with navigating your child's.  There is a Sibling/ Parent forum here that can help you.
If you have a specific example on what limit you'd like to set with your daughter, we can help brainstorm with you.  Otherwise  there is a drop down list at the top of the page on boundaries.
You did a good first step by joining this forum as a part of your network.
