I just found this site through a book I'm reading on BPD and am looking for any and all advice and support.  My 16 year old daughter has not yet been officially diagnosed but has all the character traits, and her various doctors feel she'll be lumped into this category at 18.  She has been in and out of a treatment center a few times and I'm beside myself what to do. Can't wait to read through whatever I can find on this board.

Welcome and I think you will find the information here really helpful.

For many people the best help is knowing that others are experiencing/have experienced what you are going through. That is the main reason I come here - when the moments are really, really tough, it helps me to come here, browse through the posts and know that others understand.

It is something that I value so much, because the journey with a loved one with BPD is a lonely road.

I hope you feel supported and understood when you come here. We do our best for our children, but so much is out of our control. We are abused and even threatened and we have to fight to stop our lives descending into chaos (or deeper chaos).

Let's know if coming here has helped you. I really hope that it has!
