My son is constantly complaining about physical pain.  Headaches, back, neck, stomach, chest, racing heart, trouble breathing, etc.  He's a total hypochondriac.  I've had him to numerous doctors and there's nothing physically wrong with him.  He is transgender and so wears a binder and that might have some impact, but I can't imagine it's to the extent that he's complaining.  Every time he moves he's complaining about pain.  Is this something anyone else has seen with BPD?

Hello-
Yes is common trait. Before I understood such I had my son in many doctor office doing blood work up and mri scans neurology and urology. Until they suggested behavior health was his need.

This just another trait of a BPD.

So what I now do is give the reins and responsibility back to my son.  Sorry you feel this way, if it gets worse and you need help - here is the number you can call to talk to a advice nurse or doctor  via Teledoc. Often the doctors will put them at ease on a call. Zoom call.  And your not stuck in the middle.

Hope this works for your kiddo
