Bit of a rant/vent post :P

Quick summary of my situation; uBPD mom, I've been NC since November 2020. I went NC over a phone call (breaking point) where she threatened to disown me, kill her dogs and guilted me about my late dog .. so on - because I asked what happened with her original plan to get her dogs babysat. My other family members have been essentially grey rocking for me - if she asks they just give generic "Oh I talk to her sometimes, she's fine."

She's been trying to get information about me mostly through my dad. He understands and doesn't share. Though he says that I'll talk to her again when I'm ready. My dad told me she thinks she did nothing wrong.

My mother has never texted or called my boyfriend until today. I don't have the exact quote but it basically asked him to go get a meal with her and talk about me. She's never been great at texting, so typos were expected - but my name had autocorrected to another word (clear enough of a difference that the text seemed rushed despite being long.)

I don't know what she expected from this, since my boyfriend hardly came over before the NC. He deleted her text and blocked her number today since he doesn't want to see more of that.

Just tired of the continuous consequences this has on my life. Nightmares of running into her, stress of talking to family...
If she ever finds my address, there'll be no hesitation seeking a protection order.

Hi Onyx22,

Wow, so sorry for all the drama and triangulating going on! Sounds like you have some good support in those around you, and to have your dad on the team too is great.  Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)

I'm so glad that you're making these healthy choices for you. Well done! I know it's not easy, and sticking with it can be hard because the pwBPD will keep trying to wear you down. Remember those boundaries are to keep you safe, and those pushing against them don't want them there.

Hang in there! Feel free to vent and reach out here anytime.
