40 year old step daughter split on me,

I know I was a nurturing, supportive step-mom/ friend.  Now she has nothing but complaints about me. I accepted response for one insensitive comment I made but she wants to crucify me.  She’s done this to others.  I’m so hurt.  I need to take care of myself.  I fear she will try to destroy my marriage to her father.  He does say there’s nothing to worry about. 

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders
