Hi Jgia. Welcome to a place where people understand just how hard it is!

As well as dealing with all the symptoms of BPD that our loved ones have, we are also dealing with our own exhaustion, confusion, grief and pain - and anger at times I think.

Many people here - including myself - have been on the journey for a long time and you will see that often the things that they consider to be the 'basics' of living with a bpd child are (a) set boundaries that you intend to keep (b) find ways to take care of yourself (c) get others involved eg therapists if at all possible (d) come here to understand that you are not alone in dealing with this awful illness.

Every individual with BPD is different. If you feel up to sharing what in particular you are dealing with it might help. I find just unloading is a great help to me.

Thinking of you . . . . .
