After a year and a half of isolation during the Covid pandemic, it became clear that my adult daughter was struggling with mental health issues...it became impossible to talk to her...no matter how much we tried to help, she kept pushing us away...I tried to convince her that she needed help and she blamed us for driving her crazy...she moved away and cut off us off from our grandchildren. We had been such a close family before...she has since been diagnosed with BPD, ADHD and Autism...there are so many pieces to this puzzle. I just started reading Randi Kreger’s Essential Family Guide to BPD...I couldn’t wait for it to arrive-I need all the help I can find. I barely recognize her any more...my heart is broken.

I’m so very sorry you are struggling with this. You’re not alone.  I’m new here and have been going through something similar. It’s so heartbreaking. It has helped me to read everyone’s stories and know I’m not alone in this.

I'm so very sorry. This site has been a lifeline for me. It's been so helpful to be able to share with people who just get it. It's so hard watching your child turn into someone you don't recognize... turn into someone who hates you. It's incredibly heartbreaking. You definitely are not alone.
