Had family staying for the weekend and youngest siblings girl started a dysregulation. The child is four years old so I wasn't panicking, heck appreciate the opportunity to see BPD in a stage of life where it is natural and normal. But middle siblings boy came up and his parents said:" O, she has what son has". And in that instant was born a mentoring relationship :" this works for me, maybe try this". 4 year old got all the attention she needed from cousins. I heaved a sigh of relief. So now there is this thing, it is a family thing, nobody is trying to pretend it is any different then what it is. The gaslighting is gone. Thank you BPD family! As I heard this still, small snap of intergenerational cycles breaking it was the sound of grace.  Virtual hug (click to insert in post) Way to go! (click to insert in post)

Hi khibomsis and thank you for the post. It is  really interesting that your family are able to communicate and support each other in this challenge.

Well done!
