Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and I would like to introduce myself. I have a sister with undiagnosed BPD, although after spending months researching about the disorder I know for a fact that is what's going on. It's just such a complicated situation with many layers to it. I hope I can find some help and maybe genuine connections on this site. Thank you

A warm welcome to the forum. Hope we can be of assistance. The administrators tend to be very switched on with signposting to resources etc... I'm not around much, but if you post a topic, someone normally picks it up.

custombikes,

We'd be interested upon hearing what's going on and how we can help. What lead you to belive that your sister has BPD?

Welcome custombikes. I too have a sister who has uBPD.  There are so many emotions and layers to our circumstance. As you have learned more about BPD, how are you feeling about what you have learned?

Welcome! This forum has been extremely helpful. The group is knowledgeable and supportive. They’ve helped me navigate the hardest episodes I’ve had to date with my BPD mom. My sister also is BPD. She is now 37 and has set up a life that doesn’t stir up her tendencies and has made some progress since her tumultuous 20s.

Knowledge is power, especially with people who manipulate, control and abuse. Realizing other people are dealing with it is a relief, because it's so hard for people to understand, because you can't really know it, unless you've seen it and lived it. Hope this is a good outlet for you.

NarcsEverywhere thanks for your support. As time heals and you realise most people are mostly good, I hope will feel more Narcs-not-everywhere-so-much. This place has helped me a great deal. Especially the tolerance and lover, but also seeing how different people connect and respond to different people. btw custombikes I love motorcycles, so I would be interested in what's behind your name, when you feel comfortable sharing. HappyChappy was my nick name at school, because I hated being at home - a right vampires nest that was. But the class clown - joined every club going had great friends and saved by teachers.  Smiling (click to insert in post) Better out than in as my uBPD mom use to say after vibrating the settee with her IBS.  Only I had to escape out the bedroom window without being seen to get out of that house of hell Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

HappyChappy,

Hey, thanks, ha, well I do know that, it's just I was dealing with so much drama and duplicity, that it's hard as hell to have energy to reach out. Today, I am being lazy, last night, I was lazy, and stayed up late. I think I just need some ease, so tired of struggling.

I'm doing the same. The vampire analogy is about how NPD drain your energy ... have a good lazy day.  Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)

Narcseverwhere ... Your point about people not understanding is very true, hence talking about it on here is helpful. I've popped back just to remind myself there are at least over 100,000 registered users here that know about it. Also lots of signs in my country and American that governments are taking narcistic manipulation within their own ranks... be it 74 years since George Orwell wrote about it in 1984 & Animal farm - these woke creative folk with their fictional worlds, what do they know ?   Animals can't talk !
