So basically, as the title says, what helped you through Trauma and FOO issues with a counselor? How did you navigate it?

Also my diagnosis is Depersonalization and probably derealization too, which she didn't say, but from experience with it, that comes with the territory. Now I've had Depersonalization before, from my experience it happens because of extreme stress and anxiety/depression cycles, and I fixed it last time by focusing on living life more physically especially. It can also cause me to keep distance from people and such, but I'll have to reread about it soon, as I haven't researched on it recently. Anyone have experience with this?

The other is CPTSD, from recent trauma, not from childhood trauma. Anyone have experience with this?

Any input is welcomed.
