Hi again! I had missed this place so much. I'm sorry if anyone sent me something or posted anything on my topics I didn't answer, I'm still trying to get adapted to my new situation (new full time job in a new country, etc).
As some may know, my partner was diagnosed with glaucoma some months ago. He managed to take is eye pressure under control, and after that he went to a psychiatrist who prescribed Bupropion, telling that this is the safest option for his eyes but it can still has it's own side effects, so he can stop taking it whenever it's needed.
After about two months, my partner had another appointment with a new ophthalmologist and we found out that his eye pressure is high again. Doctor increased the dosage of his eye drops to reduce the eye pressure asap, something tht drives mu partner crazy with anxiety because those drops have their own side effects too, like the possibility of changing his eye color, dry eyes, etc. He insists tht his eye color is going to change and it has already changed, even though I can't see any changes.
Anyway, he has stopped taking Bupropion, and it makes me really worried. He was less anxious and depressed after going on meds, as he said, and even his splitting episodes were less intense and shorter than before, but now he thinks it has no effect on him so far so why should he risk his eyes for that? I don't want him to lose his vision too, but thr point is we're not sure if this raise in his IOP was due to his mental state (he's been through a lot recently), or minoxidil he's recently using, or the testosterone he had when he was 19 (doctor told us this is the reason to his glaucoma but we're not sure) or Bupropion is the one to blame for that.
I'm so upset and even somehow scared about this, and though I need to share it here.
