Hi, everyone! I hope you had a great holiday! Speaking of....I am truly at the end of my patience level...(back story...in addition to BPD daughter, my sister does not speak to me (4 years strong b/c I supposedly mocked Covid (because I had to work); I reach out to HER for bdays, etc. (she returned a bday card, taking the GIFT card out, sigh) so...BPD daughter, for years said, "she would eat dirt rather than associate with my sister) (our family is the pits!) rewind a few months ago, my sister was at the restaurant BPD daughter is a part time server & told my sister, "I don't speak to (used my name) either, she is toxic" (I was so hurt...why? i do not feel i have a toxic bone in my body), come to find out, from my mother (who I feel likes to pit others against each other) (see PITS!) told me BPD went to my sister's for a picnic (while I am truly glad she is not alone), going to just say it, what a back stabbing move....i just think that was hurtful and cruel....I can only imagine what was said about me...I feel like i am going to take a "break" from my pining after BPD & waiting for some miraculous "re-concilation" (as I am crying talking about this)....if I had ONE wish, it would be for ALL of my family to just stop this "puzzle piecing", family "I want to be with you/no I don't) it is just a big, fat mess, sigh (vent over!)

Hi ,
I think you have it right- keep the focus on you and less on the bpds .
As far as the bpd's opinions of me, one saying helps me: " What others think of me is none of my business".

What I have read and experienced with my own pwbpd is that they are very much shape shifters and their moods and opinions of people can change from one hour to the next so if you are looking for any type of loyalty here I would say forget it. I would never share any info that could be turned into gossip with my udd for this reason red-flagas she likes to stir the pot and has found herself in some very sticky situations after being discovered so I would agree with Swimmy55 of working on yourself. As they say, misery likes company.
