Well here I am, sitting in the house we rented together, alone. After reading the symptoms of being in a relationship with someone with BPD ,  that's what was happening. Such a sweet girl in the beginning, but something always felt off. I remember being confused because I had a beautiful woman asking me what I wanted for dinner, but I wasn't happy. I was told that if we signed the lease together, I wouldn't be broken up with. That lasted a week. I've been on a roller coaster ride ever since. What sucks is that her child is involved. I have made more progress with him than she has. Now she's living at dad's house, and moving up the street. This is madness. She's been completely frigid many times. Followed by pledges of devotion.

Hello freyed,

Being abandoned can certainly elicit rollercoaster emotions, even more so by it being done so quickly after a pretty significant commitment. What prompted her to move out so suddenly? Are you in contact?

Sitting in a home you shared together with so many memories is the worst.

I personally had d to move out, I couldn't be there anymore. Lucky for me, I wasn't on the lease even though I had been solely paying the rent for the past several months so she could get her finances in order (aka buy makeup, get her hair done, and pay random bills)

I'm sorry a child is involved at this point. I wish you only the best, I'm sure many of us on here feel for you on how hard it is.

I'm also curious if you're in contact.

Again, this sounds like my exBPD, but in her situation with her boyfriend.  He has been paying all of the rent, while she goes around getting her hair cut and colored and putting on her damn makeup every day, even when she doesn't leave the house.

freyed, I'm so sorry for what you're going through.  I nearly ended up where you are now, a few times, actually.  We never ended up living together, but we got close.  With mine, it was a strange combination of her abandonment fears and her engulfment fears.  I wanted to buy a place, rather than rent, which takes longer (abandonment fears), and felt engulfed the closer we came to actually getting a place.
