Are pwBPD easily influenced?

My expwBPD is a musician. He has served as music director for a fairly well-known jazz vocalist and the music they have produced together is simply breath-taking.  But after having witnessed him "mirroring" me and several other people in his life, I now understand that the music I had THOUGHT was coming from B. was more accurately something he has simply been suctioning out of the vocalist - it is HER spirit and HER beautiful loving soul that he is absorbing like a vaccuum.  So sad!  How I miss the person I thought he was... .
