I really made the right decision with nc with. My uBPD sis.  Her raging in the waiting room at me while my mom was having a mastectomy was one of the hardest things I ever went through.  I have always ignored her in situations like like that but I opened my big mouth.  I really need to remember that just because I'm even tempered doesn't mean that what I say will b taken in an even tempered way... .  I am kicking myself for reacting to that trigger... .  One thing that I noticed a long time ago is that she doesn't listen and feels no empathy or sympathy (of course... .  ) and I get frustrated inside when not validated... .  so I need to keep exploring ways to deal with my feelings of frustration when she has done something blatantly hurtful... .  especially when it involves my kids... .  Because I don't want contact... .  maybe I will take up boxing and hang a bag in my basement to get my frustrations out... .

A punching bag has always sounded like a good idea to me too Smiling (click to insert in post)

Finally realizing - really getting - that someone can't be reasonable is such a mix of relief and frustration. I think I know where you're at.
