Hi Photomum
Welcome to the bpdfamily. I'm sorry for what you are going through but you have come to the right place to share your journey, learn from others and the wealth of information to the right.
Hopefully a change in her setting may set her on a better path.
It can be as challenging having a diagnosis as it is a relief and it's great that you have started reading. I recently read "Loving Someone with Borderline Personality Disorder" by Shari Manning. I found it very helpful and there is specific information in there targeted to your circumstances.
My daughter is also 27 with a diagnosis from about three years ago and I can relate to feeling like there have been some hellish years as my daughter also became very problematic at around 14/15. It is no doubt a long journey.
Do you have support for you as it is very important to look after yourself as BPD is, as you know, very exhausting.
Hopefully you can share more about your daughter's recovery as there will be many parents here eager to learn from your experience and share theirs.
Take care
Merlot
