Happy New Year
«
on:
December 31, 2012, 05:09:01 PM »
To all of my dear friends,
I am dedicating
2013
As a year
For change
For each and every one of you!
I have started Will's Way
Gifting
Wristbands
And
BPD pins... .
Will's Way
Is
About
Walking
Step
By
Step
into
Life
Will's body is gone to the ground
But his spirit lives on
And it was and is some spirit!
Thanking you one and all for letting me stay with you and for listening to my rather eclectic musings.

To Our Dear Reality,
Thank YOU for staying with US and for sharing your eclectic musings with us. And for starting Will's Way. Your wonderful Will filled your heart and your soul with beauty and you are now (and have been) passing on his beauty and love to others.
Bless you. May you find peace in the New Year.

Reality,
thank you for sharing all your wisdom, fears and validation of all of our challenges.
Will was blessed to have you in his life. I was blessed through him to have you in mine.
I will toast to Will's Way tonight and for many years to come.
Peace,

Reality,
You changed how I think about my ds, you changed how I speak to my ds and you changed how I talk about my ds.
I do not have any idea how things are going to end. But you showed me that I should see how fragile he is and that I should tread lightly. I can never thank you enough for opening my eyes and my heart.
It's so hard to have a pwBPD and so easy to become hardened to it.
You helped me and your Will helped me to understand.
When I lost my brother I wrote "go gcasfar ar a cheile sinn aris" "till we meet again"

The first thing I will do at midnight is to walk. Even if it around my house in gratitude to you and all you have shared with all of us. I will walk in Will's Way forever.

I just walked for Will! I'm a couple of blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and the waves are crashing and fireworks were going off... . I sent out my own signal to the universe to please help all of us and our loved ones wherever they are.

Thanks Reality - you gave me such a wake up call when I needed it some time ago. Will's Way - he will always be a treasure in the world through your gifts to all who will listen - we here are listening.
Not quite eleven here - will celebrate with the midwest as not sure will make it to midnight here. Fun evening with gd and dh - gd and I strung steamers all over the living room, painted 2013 and pictures to hang up, and played games. She is such a gift for us. Dd and bf"M" are watching movies downstairs. All is peaceful. All my goals are being fulfulled at least for tonight.

Dear friends,
Know that every time you and yours walk for Will, the world is changing... .
Every time you are so kind to me
You share my tragedy
You shoulder my burden
You tell me I am not alone
Will's Way
Was
Kindness
Will lived his Will-ness
Not his illness
I just kept looking for Will
Too bad
I was so alone... .
I know now that he would still be with us
If I had had help
Many of us would not be here
If we had had help
The wounded healers, one and all... .
Here's to us

You are so right... . many of us would not be here if we had gotten help. Especially those with young adults.
But the work you are doing is going to help those parents who are coming behind us. Maybe we had to pave the way for the next generation of parents of pwBPD.
My hope is that the stigma gets lifted, the MH services are plentiful and especially affordable. Maybe someday those with BPD will have a joyful and independent life.

In all the sadness, wow, community, so lovely to read all your messages
Happy new year seems so inappropriate sometimes, just kind of hoping I get through it haha.
I do think we could have a better year, we have all learnt so much
