I don't have a child dealing with BPD. Instead it's my spouse. However, I just can't imagine how difficult it must be to be a parent of a child with BPD. I commend you all for your strength and dedication to your children. I have a sister with paranoid schizophrenia and I see how it tears up her mom (my stepmom).

I don't really read the posts on this board but I do often think of you all and say a prayer for you.

Thanks byasilver,

It always helps to know someone cares,  and yes it is one of the hardest things to deal with.  You can divorce a spouce if the going get too rough,  but you can't do that with a child.  It is for life,  no matter how old they are.

What a beautiful thought to start my day   thank you byasliver.

In return let me tell you I have admiration for those who stay and work with their loved ones, when they do have a choice. It shows a real strength of character.

I hope your beautiful spouse comes through ok, with you by their side.

Cheers,

Vivek

hugs are good, and appreciated, thank you.

My husband had schizophrenia and have a 16dd.  it is definitely worse watching our children suffer and their innocence taken.

My hug back to you
