Am I wrong?

Let me start by saying that I have suffered a lot of abuse from my BPDWife.  Both physical and mental.

A while back on a hot day I was driving home from work and I took off my watch and ring because my hands were sweaty.  When I reached the house and started to get out of the car, I realized that I had not put on my wedding ring.  In a panic I reached to get the ring on my hand before she saw.  At that moment it hit me that this was just more of her control.  At that point I stopped wearing my wedding ring unless we were going to something special like church or a special event.  It made her really mad but it is my own little protest against her control and against the way I have been treated.

Tonight I took her to dinner along with one of our kids.  She didn't wear her ring.  I am not really mad.  I really don't care anymore.  I just think that she has no right to punish me after all that I have suffered.

What do you guys think about my behavior?  What about hers?
