How to communicate after a contentious divorce... Following a contentious divorce and custody battle, there are often high emotion and tensions between the parents. We had a rough spring. DH's uBPDbm went unhinged and filed two ROs and CPS came a-callin' not once but twice. All of this within one month.

This summer we started a CE for SD9.

We read the CPS reports and found that in one of them SD9 had to go get a psych eval (DH was accused of sexual abuse, do I need to specify that it was a false accusation when a BPD is involved?). We just got the results of the psych eval and they are GLORIOUS! It says exactly what we've been upset about. We don't even have to prove anything, we can just show this report to the CE!

*All of the crazy accusations are always unfounded

*SD9 has been left home alone and is too immature to be left alone and can't handle herself well in emergency situations

*uBPDbm has unresolved anger and is discussing adult issues and inundating SD9 with her anger causing her to have fear toward DH

*DH is her father and has a right to be involved

I think this is really promising. It validates our arguments and will further discredit uBPDbm's stories. This paired with our plan for SD9 just might land us with majority (fingers crossed).

Do. Or do not. There is no try.
