My 17 year old daughter has just been diagnosed with BPD. We are just so sad but not surprised. We have not told her yet. I'm just looking for information and trying to educate myself. We are at a point that we don't know what to do with her.

Hi Princesspeep, Welcome to BPD Family.
This is the right place to gain insight and knowledge about BPD. But it so much more than that, this is a circle of support and understanding. It is an outlet and a safe place to talk about your worries, concerns, problems. etc.
Being diagnosed with BPD is not the end all, there is hope, and you will find it here.
The [L5] Parenting a Son or Daughter Suffering from BPD board is where I would love to see your story. Tell us more about your situation. There are other parents on this board to offer advice and knowledge and on the right of the board you will find helpful lessons and tools.
I hope to see you there.

Hi princesspeep
I would just like to join Tristesse in welcoming you and say that I too have found the parent's board to be a wonderfully supportive place.
At the top of the page are articles that you can read to educate yourself about the disorder and to the right the tools and lessons which Tristesse has referred to.
I hope that you will follow the link which Tristesse has given.
Many of us have been in situations where we are unsure what to do next and we would like to help.

Hi princesspeep,
Time goes by so fast doesn't it!
How is your daughter doing?
Has your daughter been in therapy?
How are you? Busy I know, it is worth investing the time you can make in researching the disorder and how to best help your daughter. We can help you there.
