Today my doctor has prescribed Abilify in addition to the Lexapro for my daughter.  She was on Lexapro and Lamectil, but she had side effects with the Lamectil.  So I was wondering about the success of the Abilify?  I've read some bad stuff on there on the web, I'd like to hear some good stuff.

Please let me know your experience.

Thanks

Hi Hanging on in MN

My daughter was on Prozac and abilify for 5 years.  I did notice when we cut back on her abilify that she became much more emotional and so we went back to her original dose.

The abilify was added when she began having psychotic features.

We had no problems with them... .not even noticeable weight gain.
