I swear child impact seminars and the like just teach them the language they should use, meanwhile they don't actually act in the child's best interest. For example my ex " I don't have to talk to you about anything, I have child's needs as my priority" or " at least when I give her formula it doesn't have everything I eat in it like your breast milk, I am only concerned for child's wellbeing" or " it doesn't matter if I have a job or not, that has nothing to do with my ability to care for the child" or" its not in child's best interest to be outside in the winter" or ( when I got tendonitus in my shoulder)" if you are not able to care for the child due to your injury I am more than willing to care for the child for both of us, she needs a hands on parent" ( I went to work and waittressed one armed BTW) or " you don't call her doctors again, everyone tells you you shouldn't have more than one parent call the doctors, it just confuses everything, its my right to call the doctor's, you are interfering" yadayada, so much b.s.or I say " can we sit down and talk about taxes" and he says " stop trying to get alone with me, stop harassing and threatening me". They just learn the lingo they should use.

Hi rarsweet.  This is not an easy position for you to be in.  You obviously need to vent.  Where would you like to go with this?
