Hello Everyone,

Thank you for your support.  It's been a while since I posted, as I've been dealing with the fallout of a divorce.

My case in court was one of the most horrific experiences of my life.  My attorney was completely incompetent, and I had suspected the possibility of fraud by my own attorney.  With it, the judge ruled in my ex's favor, so I have been building my case to go to the CA Bar.  However, I've now just become aware that opposing counsel knew of the fraud too, but did nothing to report it.

I've lost everything financially, so to me it has been a real hardship, but probably not big enough to make it an issue for anyone else.  With the final piece of the settlement to be completed next week, it seems all parties (my attorney, opposing counsel and my ex) are all playing games to try and get me to waive my rights.

I guess I'd like to know if I should continue my path with the CA Bar, what will they do?  Or should I go to the DA?  Why didn't the judge do something when this all came up?

You all have been through the craziness and know how difficult it is for others to believe our stories.  My ex --partnered with is diagnosed BPD mother -- lied, cheated and stole from me.  Learning that the the attorneys, and possibly the judge, knew what was going on, makes me feel ill.

Can I receive justice from someone?  If so, who?  Does anyone know of someone in the Santa Cruz DA's office that would be willing to listen?

Thanks so very much!
