VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

Daughter had 9 month checkup today. Dr asked where she sleeps and ex said she goes to bed in a pack and play and naps on a fold out couch. Dr was questioning him about the couch and ex got so defensive, voice wobbling, hands shaking, told the doc he knew what he was doing. He wouldn't answer what kind of formula he gives her, said he mostly gives her water and Gatorade. Told the doctor she knows how to chew, when the doc was just reminding us about choking. First time I saw the doc and the nurse look at him weird. I had previously kind of been "saving him" whenever he would mumble and just talk nonsense at the doctors. This time I purposely turned around and walked daughter around while the doc was talking to him. No more helping him out.

Just make sure the doc is putting it all in the records as they are legal documents.

eek, this is disturbing. haven't been following your story, but, water and gatorade? how often does he have her? sounds like maybe shouldn't have overnights yet.

Do the medical professionals know that you are seperated?
